I have an 80 lb 5 channel amp and am going to add a 70 lb 3 channel amp. There's also a Β£40 audio-video unit, various players and the like. I bought 12" extensions for more space. My amps can get really hot. You can add another shelf, which is what I did. SECRET ADDITION! Use those little shiny "sticks" to hang furniture over carpet/ Hardwood shelves and place them under the entire shelf and heavy blocks on the shelf After that you can move the rack slightly to access the wiring etc. Do this before loading the rack Ha ha!
