If you have a small child in the house you can't go wrong with this child safety set that includes the essentials - socket covers and bumper corners. Socket covers are round and smooth; They're plastic, but don't feel flimsy. They fit well into standard sockets and are not easy for a child to remove. The bumper corners are made of clear silicone and can be attached to your furniture with the included 3M adhesive. They're clear and small (so less of an eyesore than most other options), but they're just as effective at softening bumps. They are easy to install but I'm not sure they won't damage nice furniture - please do your research before installing.
