I installed this 17 months ago. The original lamp lasted 2.5 years. I had to change the bulb yesterday. The total hour count is just over 1600 hours so I estimate this lamp lasted less than 800 hours. Probably less than the original lamp, but also half the price. I'll probably next time buy a twice the price Philips bulb and see if it lasts twice as long or longer. Save yourself the hassle of removing your projector for replacement.
