Review on πŸ”Œ Listed VCE Cat6A Shielded Keystone by Larry Blanco

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy and quick to stop, but hopefully you never have to move them.

They were very easy and quick to terminate with both solid and stranded wire. Not a single test error. Installs side-by-side in a 24-station, 19-inch Keystone Rack patch panel. The zip ties provided were flimsy and I snapped a few of these and as they are an integral part of attaching the run wire/ground wire to the socket body I had to order a pack of similar zip ties to finish the job. Another caveat is that although they do are easy to cut and fit in the keystone hole, but the plastic hook holding them in the keystone hole snapped every bushing I tried to pull out of the keystone hole, rendering them virtually unusable (in this project we have up to 5 broken sockets). If you're sure your work is clearly... done and you never want to delete and reuse them, they're great. If you're still experimenting with your patch panel layout and feel like moving things around, you might want to find another product of equal value.

Pros
  • CAT 6A jacks provide excellent performance for data networks that require maximum speed and bandwidth. TIA/EIA 568-C and ISO 11801.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
