I loved this little tool, I used it on my lawn mower and motorcycle. Little light is required to get more detailed spark information. I had a bad stator on my dirt bike and it still sparked, but the difference between the old and new stator was huge. A good spark should be a very nice blue color, I originally had a whitish color after installing a new stator, a really nice wide blue spark.
