Review on πŸ”§ Authentic GE Dishwasher Pump and Motor Assembly (Part #WD26X10013) - Genuine OEM Product by Athenasby Whitney

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Large part: Dishwasher parts and accessories

This was a 'straight replacement' for my GE Triton GSD5200G00BB. My model doesn't have a solenoid like most, but has an extra drain pump, so the 'direct replacement' has one that just hangs over the edge. If you don't originally have a solenoid, you will need to slide the black rubber cap off the new part. You'll understand what I mean when you see this. This part replaces GE (and apparently many other) dishwasher pumps from the last 30 years, or guides so to speak. It took me a little time to find my way around the instructions, but after that everything fell into place and works perfectly. I saved myself at least $350 compared to buying a lower/mid range washing machine on sale. If I get a year of that, I'll be happy. For tools, you will need flathead and Phillips screwdrivers, and a 5/16" and 1/4" wrench or socket for clamps that also have no slots. You also need to diagnose the problem before tackling this part. I highly recommend Applianceblog.com which is a completely independent review of mine. My problem was that my dishwasher wouldn't drain the water. There are many possible reasons. After removing EVERYTHING else I replaced the main pump and it did the job. Thank you for reading.
