I recently bought a new Macbook Air not considering the laptop's limited ports. I bought another dock that worked, but since it had to fit the laptop snugly and I have a protective cover on the top and bottom of the laptop, I had to remove the bottom protective cover to use it. Not perfect so I started looking again and found this. Not only is it perfect for one of the USB-C drives without having to remove the bottom cover, but with the HDMI port on this dock I now don't need an HDMI-to-USB-C adapter to connect to my to create a second screen. I'll talk about durability after a few weeks of use, but so far I'm loving it!
