One star because the display is wrong, meaning you are buying the wrong length rivets. The grip length is the thickest material that can be fastened, not the length of the rivet body. A rivet with a 1/2" handle should have a 3/4" body (1/2" + 1/4") to allow the rivet head to expand. Therefore, a minimum of 3/4 inch grip is required for 1/2 inch thick material. The confusing display says 1/2" coupling, but it's not 3/4" housing, and in some places the display even says 3/8" coupling, which would be more correct. Don't forget the extra ones Include 3/16 for the grip otherwise they will be short. The picture shows the 7/16 stock with the (1/2) grip I ordered which is actually a 3/8" grip and not a 1 /2" grip is so you can see the 1/2" grip is too short. Sellers should not make such lay mistakes.
