No subscription required for setup
You do not need to register with HP+ to set up this printer. There is a great video on YouTube that shows you step by step how to set it up and skip the subscription process. The only downside was that I couldn't download the app on my Mac because it requires software version 10.14 or higher. I wish I knew that sooner. But it works on my cell phone. Prints fast. No complaints yet.
