I'll try to be brief. Unboxing: It feels good, is durable and well built. It fits perfectly with GoPro style mounts. Speaking of GoPro, they could learn from this shutter! GoPro mounts are square in shape. They work fine. This fastener is about the same size, but the end looks more like a wing nut. This makes it easier to put on with wet, slippery or cold hands without effort. It's a bit longer and I think the same diameter as the grip I used and it's perfect. It fits my male hands better and at the same diameter, a person with a smaller hand won't notice the difference. The added benefit of a longer handle is slightly better buoyancy.
