Great scanner used in my truck and wife's car. Both have engine lights on. Great starting point for where the problem lies, but not an exact science. You can easily replace various parts on the vehicle before fixing the problem. For example, I have code for a small leak from a po 442 vaporizer. I swapped out a few parts to find this small leak, but not at the time of writing this article. Great tool before you go to a gas station knowing you already have a pretty good idea what the problem is. may be. I would recommend this product to the average Joe like me who is not very knowledgeable about cars so you don't get robbed at the gas station like you would without this scanner.
