Review on JANDJPACKAGING Dark Green Transfer Vinyl by Barbara Simmons

Something has changed

I have purchased this brand in the past and have always been happy with it. The vinyl was the perfect weight, thin but not too thin to be strong, with just enough flexibility, easy to cut and weed, beautifully transferred with a professional matte look almost like it was fused to the fabric, smooth to the touch, and holds up to repeated washings (wash, in warm water, and tumble dry) without chipping. It's very different. It's much more difficult to cut and weed, requires a higher temperature to apply, often requires multiple attempts (I've tried both hot and cold scrubs, no noticeable difference), is bulky and shiny on fabric, making the finished product cheap looks and unprofessional. I haven't had time to thoroughly test the durability, but based on previous experience with similar quality vinyl I expect it will peel after three or four washes. Note. Previously I used 12" x 10" J and J sheets. . This time I bought a 12' x 15' roll each of white and black so maybe that's the difference, although I don't see why there should be. What gives, J and J?
