We needed 4 extra NICE chairs for our dining table that we could put away when not in use. We got tired of dragging chairs from the kitchen corner to the dining table when we had guests. They took up too much space, were difficult to move, and we didn't want the typical ugly, "chunky" cold-metal folding chairs. We wanted WOOD chairs not only to look very beautiful, but also NOT to look like folding chairs. We also needed chairs that "good height people" (275+) could sit in if you get my meaning. We ordered them and are very happy with them. They are made of high quality WOOD and the almost hidden metal folding mechanism is very strong and reliable. 2 pieces, very well packaged. Once you've removed them, all you have to do is make them available for use, which is a little tricky at first, but the instructions describe how to do it pretty well. Another marvel of engineering. Their color is remarkably close to our Colonial Pine set, so they pair well with it. Vinyl seat covers are well made and we've tested how quick and easy they are to clean. we have small grandchildren. We only wish we knew about this and had ordered them years ago!
