Pointed toe doesn't work well with hammer toes.
I love the rounded toe. Whose idea is it that pointy toes should be on every shoe? Otherwise the shoes are very comfortable. The elastic tightening function was easy to use and comfortable. But, as I said in the title, my hammer fingers start hurting before the end of the day. I usually wear a size 8 and ordered this size but maybe with the pointy toe effect an 81/2 would make them more comfortable.
