Review on Sherpani Camden Raven Laptop Backpack by Robert Bridgewater

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Everything is fine but there are quality issues

I've owned this bag for about 8 months. I want to love it more than me but it has issues with cleaning, interior quality and maybe design for me. I would hardly redeem it, and not in this color. The color combination is stylish for work, but the cream gets dirty quickly. I haven't found any cleaners that work at all. Will throw it in the laundry next time. Normally I wouldn't want to do that, but since the interior doesn't last either, the bag still doesn't last as long as I wanted. The seams separating the two inner pockets begin to unravel fairly quickly, making the pockets too messy to stash. The laptop padding panel is separating from the underside - not a big deal to me, but not ideal. I find the key hook in an awkward position. The pocket isn't that big and easy to stuff, making getting the key out of the bottom pocket a little painful. The bag is not as big as I need. I wear work clothes, lunch and often shoes (and I have big feet). It keeps things dry but isn't waterproof and I've had things that got wet. The bag is not advertised as waterproof.

Pros
  • FUNCTIONAL DESIGN: Camden has two exterior zippered pockets, two side water bottle pockets and a rear luggage handle. There are two internal pockets, an internal laptop pocket and an internal water bottle pocket. This bag also has a key ring and a PU puller/keychain. We want you to love your Camden. Cons
  • Low maintainability
