These clippers worked great and allowed me to trim pretty quickly. The only downside is that the metal blade gets very hot, but the handle doesn't. I didn't think the clippers were hot until my horse started moving and I touched the blade and burned my finger. Touch them often to make sure they aren't too hot and need to cool down. They don't leave nice lines so I went back to my clip with small scissors to touch it up and I couldn't do some of the smaller curves on his neck and back with big scissors. But they work fast and allow the use of a body clip. They are very noisy so be aware if your horse is sensitive.
