I was looking for plates to take with us when we have a barbecue on the beach or at the lake. I'm stubborn about eating a good piece of meat on a paper plate. I did this many years ago and swore I would never do it again! So I started getting my good everyday china, but it was too heavy and could break easily. So I searched online and found these melamine dinner plates that work so well! They're light, travel well, and don't cheapen a good cut of meat. Easy to clean but remember melamine tops are not microwave safe.
