Easily beat 3 other lens cases

When planning a trip I ordered 4 different lens cases. Unfortunately, in order to match each lens exactly, I had to buy bodies from different manufacturers. This case was BL-0003 for a 3-1/2" lens (with Canon to Fuji reverse lens hood and adapter ring) and 4-1/2" in size. (See photos) From four different cases from four different manufacturers this case was by far the best.I have returned 3 others from: Olympus,Neewer and WGear and am buying 3 to replace them, again I had to buy from different manufacturers.due to lens size. This BL-0003 case has a very strong yet soft foam cover covering the top, bottom and sides It comes with an insert ring that fits my lens in the Canon-Fuji adapter area The empty case feels very sturdy (unlike the return case of the Neewer brand) and can carry a heavy object resting on or to the side of it. The back strap is two" wide and about three" high in front of a double velcro (velcro) closure. in trend. This is a bad ter closer that leaves an open gap at the top and once closed/fastened, has a long cord loop that you can unexpectedly handle or snag. Stupid idea for a lens case. I also don't like velcro because it's noisy, can easily snag on materials like cleaning clothes, clothes, felt in duffel bags, etc.) The zippers in this case feel solid and don't snag on the insulation material. It has a built in mesh pocket in the lid that I will use for a dry bag of desiccant (silica) that will help keep the photo lenses dry. In addition, this case has been presented in many other sizes to better fit my lenses. I would buy this case again for travel, daytime field work and storage.
