The picture is nice, but not for a beginner. This is probably my 6th or 7th photo. Some people might find it easier to work with light colors first and then dark colors (or vice versa), but in my experience it's easier to start in the top left corner and create the entire "background", first from left to right (starting with sky and water). Then I can trace the leaves and it looks more realistic. I love the paint bottles that are falling apart now. I mix paints on a paper plate, stir the paint with toothpicks and remove a few drops of paint at a time, and I always have paint left over. I also draw straight to the end of the board without overflowing. I would suggest using a smaller brush for details. Very relaxing and I get a lot of compliments on my work.
