From an old calligraphy student.

I think this set is fine for the money.I see a lot of people complaining about the fine nibs.When I took a class in this art, we were instructed to cut our own flat end sizes. We made our own calligraphy pens from normal fountain pens by cutting the tip to size then you use a fine file or very fine sandpaper to smooth off any unwanted edge on the nib.I don't know for sure if that is what they intended here but, that is what I intend to try with at least one of the nibs provided. Instructions on how to use the calligraphy pen set

The set looks good and the grip on the pen feels good. Being a beginner without paper or electric instructions I have to google or try it until it works.I like to get the paper instruction which explain the different writing of the nibs, how to insert the different nib, does nib need burning before using, proper way to dip the calligraphy pen.It would nice the ink bottle opening is larger. Best calligraphy set for beginners !

This calligraphy dip pen set is soo awesome! Not only is it beautifully packaged but the quality is good perfect for beginners such as myself. I found it extremely easy to use there are so many different tips for different styles of writing the ink is good quality smooth and doesn't bleed. The tips hold the ink minimizing the amount of dipping your doing! Overall a perfect gift for someone or just for beginners getting into dip pen calligraphy!

Daughter loves it best in my review

Christmas gift for my 13 year old who has taught herself caligraphy. She is enjoying this set very much. I think the different heads seem a little cheap and tin like but she doesnt mind. There are a ton of pieces but no instructions or guidance. Wish we had the names of some of them. We bought the black set and the feather pen is cute!

Gift for my daughter- she loved it!

My daughter wanted to learn how to do calligraphy and her art teacher suggested I get a begginer set. This was a perfect set for my daughter. I wish I had a picture showing my daughter using it, but she took it to school. But she loves it and was so excited to get it. Her teacher said it was a perfect set for beginners and Britt said it was easy to learn.

The person I purchased this for is all about getting back into learning calligraphy and sing fountain pens as an art form. Well, they absolutely love this set, it's great for drawing and writing. An amazing gift option!

I got this as a gift for my wife. She loved this calligraphy set. The pen is very fancy and looks elegant! It comes with various nibs and an ink bottle. The set also has a stand for the pen, which comes really handy when writing for a long time. We did not get a chance to try all the nibs in the set, but the ones we used so far are pretty good! Will definitely recommend this as a gift option if you know someone who loves calligraphy.

Beautiful, with Small Caveat

I absolutely love this set. My only disappointment was to discover that the gold pen holder and gold leaf on the pen shaft are made of cheap plastic. Otherwise, it’s really awesome. The feather is absolutely perfect, and the nibs seem to be of decent quality. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m definitely looking forward to it.

Looks like a beautiful set but the feather is messed up where someone put a protective plastic cover on the feather without actually caring about protecting the feather now its stuff ruffled and not pretty
