Perfect for Mom: my feedback

My mom has dementia, and we've recently discovered that she loves coloring books. These pencils are perfect. So many colors and love that it comes with a sharpener. She colors so much, we have already purchased a second box of these for her! During these times there's not a lot for her to do outside safely, so coloring is a great source of entertainment for her.

Pros
  • The colors are super bright and the tips dont break easily.
Cons
  • Only 50 pencils in the set may not be enough for some artists

Received 2 green yellows and 2 light sea green

Out of 72 pencils which to me is a small set. 2 colors were repeated. Meaning I got 2 of the light sea green and 2 of the yellow green. The barrel of pencil itself is very hard feeling while you draw. Also it’s very hard to see what color you are using due to not having the color dipped end. Very dissatisfied with this set. The colors get waxy before you get a saturation of color which to me indicates the use of a lot of fillers. The set is not a complete set, lots of mid tones not a lot of…

Getting what you paid for

I like the quality of the pencils, the packaging is nice, and they are easy to use. The color is nice you just have to make a few passes over it. Although, there is not a lot of pink and purple options. There are several blues which all seem to be similar shades. Also the names are deceiving so try them out first. Example: the violet is more blue than purple. I would not buy these again but they are worth the value and get the job done.

  • They have a lot of colors just a shade different and are missing some more diverse colors.

Not impressed with color variety

These colored pencils are fine, but there are so many colors that look nearly identical and it’s so hard to figure out what the color is going to look like based off the color of the actual pencil itself. I really wish there was more variety in the shades offered.

using it for almost 3 yrs now

i bought this for my grade 6 son and he is now in grade 8. He uses it a lot and some of the pencils are short already but still doing its purpose perfectly. After 2 yrs, I need to reinforce the case with scotch tape because they are falling apart already but that is reasonable because my son brings it to school everyday for almost 3 yrs now.

Good color assortment!

This is a softer lead than I needed, but they are still very good for my purposes!I'm mostly searching now for hard-leaded pencils, Yet these color my pages very well!The small one-inch long sharpeners don't provide good points!

Yeeeeessssss! for my opinion

I cannot wait to try these out! Definitely worth the money and I would reccomend. 50 pencils for 9 bucks. A great selection of colors to use and a great steal.

Great quality pencils and a nice variety of colors and shades.

I got into coloring during Covid quarantine season. This is a great variety of colors and quality pencils. The sharpener works really great as well. They store nicely back in the box.

Ok pencils best in my review

Ok soft pencils with minimal blending abilities. Easy to sharpen with included sharpener. I use fir A&apple coloring book. Works for Tia purpose.

Great color array, not neceassrily "creamy "

These pencils had great reviews so, excited by the price, I bought them. There is a great array of colors, but I don't find that the colors lay with a "creamy consistency". The sharpener must have been installed somewhere in the box because I didn't see it. In order for the color to lay I find I definitely need to keep the point sharp, which is not a slight toward these pencils, sharp tips are necessary with all pencils. They have a lot of colors which is nice. The color range may not be as extensive as other sets on the market. Buttttttt when coloring they have a lot of fall out or whatever you call it.

Very pretty colors best in my review

The lead is quite soft so they don't hold a point very long. One has to keep sharpening them and that looses too much pencil too fast

Artlicious vs Crayola

I did not find these have as smooth a coverage a Crayola and do not like them as well. Also, the color names are very hard to read compared to the Crayola pencils.

Great Value. Colored Pencils Provide Bright, Vivid Colors. Purchased Exceeded Expections!

I bought this set before Thanksgiving 2016 and put them away for use after the holiday season. Today, I finally opened up the box and used them. THESE COLORED PENCILS ARE AWESOME! Good quality and pigmentation

Lovely packaging. Nice pencils. Good quality. Not scratchy at all. Goes down smooth like butter. Pigment is fantastic. These are also beautiful looking. Definitely a good addition to any collectors pencil stash.

Soft, Blendable, Good Value

Review for PrimoSoft 72 colored pencils. Soft pencils with good color coverage and blendable (before you ask, these are not Prismacolor Premiere level but higher than a lot of middle of the line colored pencils). These are round lacquered natural wood pencils - there are no colors painted on them, but they do have color names printed on them (see my note about that below). I started painting rocks and was looking for something that would make writing on the rocks easier. These were it. Though I will say the white and yellow color tend to be a little watery and not thick. I would and will purchase again when these are used up

Pencils were great, the box is a pain to get the pencils out of. They would benefit from rethinking the packaging. The set may not have any unique or unusual colors.
