Colors not as pictured! Pencils are labeled incorrectly

I do not need fancy colored pencils for what I bought these for. While I do own some quality art supplies, I was hoping these would be on par with the quality of Crayola (or even a little better after reading the reviews). These are a step down- more like Rose Art if anyone remembers that brand. They are not soft and crumble when sharpened. Good luck using them again after sharpening. What really got my attention is when I looked at the actual colors. The color shown is not the actual color of…

Pros
  • Ideal for use by both kids and adults, making it versatile
Cons
  • The lead may break off easily if the pencil is dropped

Some of these are kind of scratchy, but not bad

Colors are nice for the most part and they seem to layer ok. Better than Crayola, but mot quite as good as Prisma. Set does have some colors not seen in other sets, which is always a plus. Have fun coloring!

Pros
  • I bought these for my uncle's that loves to color. He loved them. Worth the price.
Cons
  • Some of the colors may be too similar to each other

The Best Out There good for me

I love these pencils! The colors are rich and fabulous, but 50 colors isn't much to work with if you're really into coloring, so I'm getting the 120 pack of these pencils next! Now the box is a major pain for storing the pencils so I hold them in a pencil box. Problem solved. Or you can use plastic food storage containers, the ones that are long and flat, if you don't have a pencil box.Now I've read some reviewer's pointing out how some of the pencils break, and the sharpener is hard to get out

Pros
  • Great for use in coloring books, sketching, or creating art pieces
Cons
  • The pencil may not have a wide enough range of shades for certain purposes

Great for the price!

I've had these colored pencils for about 11 months now and I have no complaints! All colors came as described and I use them regularly for my coloring books. I don't sketch with them, I only color. But I find them to be good quality! I would order again.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • The pencil may not work well on darker colored paper

Good for the price in my review

I’m not that good at swatching colors but hopefully it’s good enough, swatched on canson mix media paper. These are good for adult coloring.

Pros
  • Fantastic for the price
Cons
  • States product won't break while coloring, this is not the case.

Smooth coloring with these pencils

These are pretty good colored pencils. So don’t think some of the colors are exactly as the color of the pencil. But they still are smooth to color on paper.

Pros
  • Comes with a variety of greens, blues, reds, and yellows, making it great for nature scenes
Cons
  • The set may not include enough shades for advanced art projects

Nice variety of colors but…

I like the variety of colors included but I dislike the box they come in. The back row is even with the top row instead of staggered so you can’t really look through the colors without taking them all out of the box.

Pros
  • Pencils are easy to sharpen and do not break easily, minimizing frustration
Cons
  • The pencil may be too waxy making it difficult to blend

Shades of purple? good for me

Only reason its not a 5 is the lack of purple shades. I feel as though all of the other colors have a good variety of shades except purple. There's purple & violet & a blue that has a purple blue look to it, but that's it.

Pros
  • Can be used for educational purposes like science projects, maps, or diagrams
Cons
  • The pencil may not work well for fine details

Very nice Variety on my review.

There is a very nice assortment of colors. This was my first time to purchase colored pencils for adult use. Have only used them for one color by number picture so far, and found that if I wanted vibrant colors, I had to press hard which made my hand tired more easily.

Pros
  • Can help improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
Cons
  • The pencil may not be easy to sharpen if using a manual sharpener

PrimoSoft Pencils have Stepped Up to Compete

I have tried most art pencils known to mankind and am always searching for new brands to try. I noticed these on Revain and had to give them a go. I paid full price and was not solicited in any way for this review. Artlicious has stepped up to the plate to compete with other artist brands with this beautiful range of 72 soft colors. The tin is hinged and sturdy with a nice color chart on the back. The pencils have color names on them and are finished with a clear varnish to enhance the natural…

Pros
  • The pencils come in a beautiful array of colors to allow users to create any design
Cons
  • The packaging may be too bulky to carry around

Unbelievable value.

During this time of social distancing and self quarantine, I find it particularly hard to stay sane since I'm an active person.I do some coloring and bought these pencils to add to an extensive collection I already have. These pencils are so nice. They are a softer lead and color evenly.Pkging is very nice, letting you identify each color on the back of the box.

Pros
  • Smooth Lines - Use these smooth sketch pencils for color mixing and blending, as well as practicing more detailed techniques. The perfect colored pencil for any artist!
Cons
  • The quality of the pigment may not be consistent throughout the set
