They're okay. Especially for beginners. But they tend to fall apart very easily. The handles start to break apart like sort of just wearing down very quickly. Then the bristles start falling out and the entire brush head falls off and I had to tighten them all with pliers. So butter beware. I mean, it is a great selection of brushes for the price, but I've gone through them so quickly. I probably wouldn't buy another set.

As an artist, I own lots and lots of brushes, hundreds of them, including some sable and squirrel hair brushes that cost hundreds of dollars a piece. My grandson 5 and I are a crafting pair and painting is on the top of the list. They are durable, and do not shed. The variety of the brushes makes it easy to pick any craft which requires a brush or a brush makes it easier to apply glue, or paint or whatever medium has to be spread. Grandson likes washing the brushes as much as he does using them. We are not professional painters so do not know if they will work for those who are.

I love both the variety as well as the quality of the brushes included in this set! I do a lot of decorative painting as well as decoupage, so I need different brushes for different applications. This set fit the bill for exactly what I needed. It is inexpensive enough that I don't feel badly when I have to use them in glue or other mediums where I'm concerned about being able to remove everything from the brushes. The packaging had a small rip in it. Not really a big deal since none of the brushes inside were damaged. The unpainted wooden handle brushes and the ones with the handle painted red have bristles coming out left, right and center. The photo attached shows just a smidge of the bristles that came out of one of the red-handled brushes. The rest of the red brushes have their bristles stuck together. I’ve never seen much of a difference between expensive and cheap brushes. I buy this pack or one similar to it every few months that way I don’t run out of brushes.

having nice brushes, and lots of them, enhances the painting experience of the child. no more needs to be said. The bristles of some brushes are too long and floppy, making them difficult to control.

Perfect if you're looking for a really thinned out paint for empasso-mild recreations fill-ins & such but it's hard to keep charged on the brush in just the right way & you can tell they didn't add a weight neutralizer just to upsell their pastier paints before you figure out that you can *almost* just double up this paint with a slightly less saturated tone & let it set on the palette. 4/10 not as flavourful as the sweet paintchips we had in the 50s.

Restock of much used craft supply. Comes with several sized paint brushes as well as foam brushes which are great to use for applying mod podge to projects. You get a lot for a very reasonable price. Recommend for any craft room.

These brushes were a gift to my daughter along with a lot of other art supplies. She absolutely loved them. They’re easy to break in and easy for cleaning.

There is a nice variety of sizes. I needed some smaller brushes for details on furniture when applying chalk paint. There are nice long handles, which I appreciate. They are very slippery bristles so I can't saturate the way I do with my better brushes. However, at this price I am very happy with my purchase.

Having done digital art only for the past 10+ years, I've been trying my hand at art with physical mediums. This includes watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints.I haven't done any oil painting in a long time, but I can say that these brushes work great with watercolor and acrylic paints. When they arrived most of the metal bush heads were detached from the brush handles and had fallen off in the bag. I was able to find fully attached brushes in the assortment to complete my project, however it is a shame that more than half the brushes were basically trash upon arrival. The price was very cheap so I guess in this case I got what I paid for.

You do get a variety of brushes but the bristles come off with each stroke and some bristles are stuck together. I tried separating the bristles but I couldn’t. One brush came apart as soon as I opened the packet.

This set is like a joke. The hair never get together. It is true that you get what you pay for, but you should never pay anything for garbage. I threw them away.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this brush pack. I ordered them to use with acrylic paint and most of them have held up well after multiple uses and washes. I love the sponges and variety of sizes. The only downside is that some of the brushes shed quite a lot and are unusable. I’d say 3 of the brushes are like this. I still don’t regret buying the whole pack as it’s a pretty good value for all the other brushes.

Good range of selection. Good set for children, beginners or crafts where you are worried about risking damaging a more expensive brush. Some of the brushes have uneven or loose hairs so you may need to trim or comb out the brush before use.

These fell apart after a few uses. The paint on the wooden brush base flaked off, and the bristles fell out while in use. Bristles are too stiff and inflexible.
