Alarm clocks come in all sizes and shapes with all sorts of functions. I didn't really want an alarm clock for myself, but my wife wanted a radio for the kitchen. I bought her this one because it seemed like it would be easier to use than her previous one and also because she has poor eyesight and large numbers were clearly visible in the picture. But when he came she told me that all she needed was a radio, not an alarm clock. Instead of sending it back I decided to trade it in for my old alarm clock which was adequate but underwhelming. Still, this watch is a treat. This is the first watch I've ever had that sets the local time accurately and easily by itself! You simply set the correct time zone and after a few seconds the correct time is displayed. Good. It also has two different alarms. This allows you to set alarms for both the work week and weekends. I get up at 5 a.m. on weekdays. On weekends I sleep until 8. I have both alarms set and can only choose PT for one alarm and only Sat-Sun for the other alarm. As the old TV commercial said, "Put it on and forget it!" It's also easy to manage the alarm when it's triggered. If you do nothing it turns itself off after 10 minutes I think. If you want it to snooze, just touch the front of the silver panel at the top and it will turn the alarm back on after a few minutes, and if you want to turn the alarm off completely, just press the button on the left side at the top and it will silence until the next time an alarm is triggered. Other nice features include an easy toggle on and off for the radio function, which also has room for a few preset stations. The clock numbers are blue, which is easy to see. Also, there are 3 different levels of brightness for the numbers (very light, medium and dark) which you can change by simply pressing the switch on top of the watch. Speaking of the top of the watch, touching the back of the top plate toggles the bright night light at the bottom of the watch on and off. And you can also charge your phone or Bluetooth device via the convenient USB power port on the back. It also has an AUX jack, although I can't remember if it's an AUX-out or an AUX-in. I haven't felt the need to use this feature yet. Finally, like most good alarm clocks, this one has a spot where you can install a battery so you won't be late for work if your house goes out of power.
