It's really cute BUT very short! I bought this for an 8 month old kitten who measures about 11 inches from the neck to the end of the back. It rises higher on her neck and only covers half of her back! Nothing like the photos shown. 9.8" is NOT the length of the back as stated in the size chart, but the length of the product from the neck to the bottom. The daughter wanted the kitten to wear a dress uniform and since the kitten is from the beginning of her shoulder to the As her twin's transition is 11" long we figured it would only be seen about 1" above her tail. With a picture so you can see what I mean. This is not good as she was trying to crawl away on her stomach to make her legs look weird and the tape measure wouldn't stay straight.It fits well in girth (she's about 11" or so with all her hair) but not in length. This tiny costume fits our 8 month old Kittens look huge.
