It's an odd show because it doesn't fit into the running shoe category. This is not a marathon, daily workout, flat or race. It's a good shoe for everything, but perfect for no purpose. I found this shoe to be almost perfect at a 6:30 to 7:00 mile pace. It's too comfortable to use in less than 6 minutes and doesn't feel right at slower paces. I think it's because of the perpetual foam that appears heavenly with the right rhythm (not insanely fast, but not slow either). This shoe is great for running anything from 10km to half marathon. I wouldn't have preferred this shoe for a marathon or 5K. I give the shoes 5 stars because the description above is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a reliable shoe with an ungodly long profile (500-600 miles) and good cushioning for my weekend 10 mile run. I have several completely different shoes that I change depending on the workout. Saucony Freedom ISO 2 is definitely in the rotation. I highly recommend this shoe, especially for long weekend tempo runs.
