I expect it to be a good device. I originally bought a singing machine with CD+G which is my only criticism of this model 1, no CD player but that could be a good thing. The microphone sucks, no, it really sucks. The wireless mic was the only reason I bought it for my 6 year old, the singing machine mic jack failed on the 2nd day. So I figured Pyle is an old brand and doesn't have a mic cable why not give it a try. It has decent speaker sound, everything seems to work, radio and bluetooth. The microphone hums without music via Bluetooth, but when you turn off the mic, there is no hum. I am satisfied with the device, it is small enough for a child, I would change the radio microphone to cd+g at any time. But I will keep the device, also I have a 4 year guarantee, maybe the microphone will get better and I have a really great karaoke for my daughter. I simply refused to buy anything with the Singing Machine logo/design on it.
