Made lobster gloves on my car's bumper and was able to use them Testing at 20F this morning on the way to work. Build quality seems decent enough, dimensions seem accurate. However, compared to my craft gloves (link below) I don't think they are that good for several reasons: 1. They are not warmer, maybe even a little less warm than the crafts. I need more time to actually say them. My index and middle fingers are particularly sensitive to cold and went a bit numb after 10 minutes of my 20F ride. Not unbearable, but I feel like the crafts will keep me warm a little longer than they are in these temperatures. Crafts have a built in liner that separates fingers, this one doesn't. I initially thought that maybe having these gloves in direct contact with your fingers would help retain heat, but I don't think that's the case. 2. They are less comfortable than craft gloves. There's just something uncomfortable about them, the feeling you'd expect from wearing a lobster mitt. Crafting gloves are more like regular gloves.3. Crafts raised his hand a little higher to better hold the wind in his wrist.4. They are much more expensive than crafts. The crafts cost $52, these $75. That's a difference of about 30%!
