super comfortable to wear the first time! I love the Boa system. When I first wore it, I had to tighten the first 9 holes several times, after that everything was correct. They tend to be large, so tend to be smaller than usual. I usually wear a size 14 in athletic shoes, but read here and from the manufacturer. Website, lots of comments that they are a full size up. I bought 13 wide and the length was good but too wide. Revane changed them in two days. Thank you Revin! If there is a slight downside to the "cloth type" design, they are not very supportive when walking sideways on hilly terrain. Possibly it could be the Boa system as the laced version has two wide hard plastic side panels where the laces meet.
