Really nice hitting net, perfect for a novice

Just took up golf a little while ago, so started with lessons, which of course require practice. I was going to the range, but between driving there and paying $10/bucket it seemed to make more sense to find an at-home option.I was a little leery about these nets, and it seemed like it could be a pain to put up and take down given i don’t have a yard to leave it in but went for it anyway.Trying to assemble it at home it took a while the first time; instructions were only getting you half way…

Pros
  • ‎GOLF4-1
Cons
  • The included golf balls may not be suitable for use in all weather conditions

Nice durable product.

Use this in my basement thru the winter months. I use the rubber balls most of the time and only use the regular balls when chipping. It will bounce a regular ball back at you when using an iron or wood. I’ve practiced with it daily for the past several months and looks and works as well as it did from day one. The mat that comes with has held up thru thousands of swings. Nice product.

Pros
  • Perfect for All Levels: 10 x 7 feet size golf net with side barriers provides enough space and area for beginners, intermediate golfers, and avid golfers to practice the strength and accuracy of chipping, driving, swings indoor or outdoor
Cons
  • The included golf balls may not be of uniform quality

Not made for longevity

The net is easy to assemble and catches balls just as designed. However, my net is missing the two lower sleeves connecting the net to the frame. I had to wrap the net around the frame hardware to make it taught. I am certain that this will reduce the useful life of the net. Also, the bag is poorly constructed. The zipper came apart while I was placing the bag on an overhead shelf allowing the contents to fall on top of me.

Pros
  • The mat came apart in one day. The net is fantastic. Just buy a big mat.
Cons
  • Net is so tight on the poles that when you hit the balls they just fling right back at you

Easy to set up once you figure out where to connect.

The instructions are very clear as to where to connect the net but once you figure it out, it is very easy. Is a very stable net that does the job perfectly. I have mine set up in the garage and even though it is very sturdy, it is still easy for me to move it around from one garage bay to another when I need to. Awesome net!

Pros
  • Works great. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Only wish it had maybe a target in the middle.
Cons
  • The hitting mat may not lie flat on every surface

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The net is large and sturdy but the mat is below quality.

Overall, happy with the purchase as it came with net, chip station net, and hitting mat; however, little disappointed in the hitting mat. The mat tore on my second usage. I hit a ball a little fat and it completely tore. Would be great if they would replace the mat. The overall net and chip station is excellent. The net and frame has proven durable thus far. Except the mat.

Pros
  • Good value, sturdy, easy set up.
Cons
  • The net may not be strong enough to withstand heavy use

Incorrect net sent - my new review

Bought the "used-like new” option. Net didn’t fit frame after careful attempts to read the instructions and assemble. Net is closer to 6.5’ x 6.5’, not 10’ x 7’. The net also looked nothing like the net pictured on the product page. It had a big red circle in the middle with extra netting inside the circle. What a waste of time and resources ordering this: shipping to our house, unpacking, attempting to set it up, tearing down and re-packing and sending it back.

Pros
  • The unit is not high enough. Other than that it's a good product
Cons
  • The included golf balls may not be suitable for all skill levels

Not really for long term use

We bought this for my daughter to practice her golf swing when she can’t get to the golf course. And it worked really good for about a month. Then the strings at the bottom started coming apart and now the net doesn’t catch her balls anymore. I guess she hits it in the same spot almost every time or something. I was pretty disappointed because I thought this would be great, but doesn’t last very long at all

Pros
  • Awesome product for the price. No complaints lots of fun!
Cons
  • The net may not be wide enough to accommodate different angles of approach

Well Made! except. in my review

I really like this net! Well made net and quite sturdy. A nice assortment of tees/ball too. Now about the mat. Good assortment of lies, but too small. It moves all over the place when you strike the ball. It can't help but affect club face and the genral contact. I am going to glue this to a thin piece of plywood (1/4") that will increase the footprint and put a 25 pound barbell out of the way so the thing doesn't scoot all over. I'll take some pics when I get this done. Still worth every…

Pros
  • Quick and Easy Assemble: Set up your driving range just in minutes! You can enjoy the fun of golf swing at home, in the backyard, at a park, in a garage, in the basement, and beside the pool or with any clubs
Cons
  • The hitting mat may not be suitable for use on hard surfaces

Net is good, seams are not.

This is my very first golf net I’ve ever bought. I researched and finally chose the is one for my son to practice. The mats are decent but easily move, which isn’t bad but annoying. I put it together just like the directions and as soon as he hit a few balls into the net the seam holding it together split and broke. He’s 5 so there isn’t much power behind his swing. I will definitely be returning this item. I hope they make changes to the seams, overall the net is very nice and big and easy to…

Pros
  • This net is much easier to set up than the tent style. Very good quality
Cons
  • Assembly of the net and chipping nets may be complicated and time-consuming

Net is fine.the hitting mat is horrible.

Net set up very easily. Seems to be solid and ample for what we need. I hit a few in myself off the mat and the net kicked it back a bit, but did the job. Seems to be pretty sturdy and durable. However, the first day we had it, my daughter was using the mat to hit off. She accidentally hit the back of the mat with an iron and well, see the pictures. She’s 17 and her swing is not overly powerful, so for it to rip the rubber after 1 hit is pretty disappointing. Not sure what the company will do. I

Pros
  • Easy for teenagers to assemble; big hit and easy to transport/breakdown.
Cons
  • The hitting mat may not be thick enough to absorb the impact of a golf club

Great frame/net but Hitting matt tears

With little use, the mid portion of the hitting matt is coming apart. I may have to look for another or return the item which would be a bulky problem in that the net/frame is fantastic. Directions should be clearer in that they refer to red loops which are really black. Suggest they insert a full color picture of the finished assembly.again, the frame/net combo is excellent and a real ball stopper.

Pros
  • Backyard and is great
Cons
  • The hitting mat may not be durable and could wear out quickly

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not 7' tall as advertised.

The net seems sturdy and put together well. The frame seems sturdy enough once staked in. My biggest issue is the net is not 7' tall as advertised. It is 10' wide, but at the high point (the corners) it is 6'8" and almost a full foot short in the middle at 6'3". That is really important for golf nets. I would rather it be 9" shorter length wise and the advertised height. Regardless, it isn't 10 x 7 it is 10 x 6'3. Also, the instructions are terrible as with most things these days.

Pros
  • Wasn’t hard to assemble- just big- and it is exactly as expected and works perfectly
Cons
  • The hitting mat may not be long-lasting and could fray after repeated use

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Net is great, mat is just okay.

I used this a fair amount last fall. The net itself is great- easy to set up and take down, sturdy and well made. The bundle includes a chipping target net and a small turf mat for hitting. The chipping net, I have only used indoors from a distance of 12 feet or less. It's fine for what it is and I would like to try it outdoors at slightly longer distance. The only negative I could mention is the hitting mat. Although I like that they made it with three has heights, it's got a few shortcomings.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The carrying bag may not have enough compartments to organize the components

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good item to use for some time but not a durable item.

Updated review: My initial impression of the unit was very favorable. It was easy to setup and enjoyed practicing on this unit. However, within less than 10 times of playing, the hitting mat is beginning to tear, the paint on the rods is peeling off, with one particular hit, the ball hit the rod and it almost broke. Really doubt this is value for money since I might not be able to play on it much longer.

Pros
  • Awesome product..enjoy the extras that are all included in one bundle
Cons
  • The net may be difficult to set up without assistance

Large hole in net after a few months; customer service is useless

After only a few months of use, the net developed a hole. We tried to repair it, but it just kept getting bigger. We contacted the manufacturer to ask if we could purchase a replacement of just the net (I was hoping to spend $40ish on a new net instead of $100 on a new complete kit). Customer service took a long while to get back to me and never really responded to my request to purchase just the net itself. Instead, they told me to try to patch the net and then offered me a $10 refund. neither…

Pros
  • The golf chipping nets are designed to help you improve your chipping skills, making it easier for you to hit those tricky short shots
Cons
  • The chipping nets may not be adjustable for different angles of approach

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value on my review.

Holds up strong through thunder storms. You might get some holes if you’re hitting the ball above 185mph but other than that this thing is quite flawless

Pros
  • The golf balls are of high quality, ensuring that they last longer and withstand all your hits
Cons
  • The net may not be suitable for indoor use without damaging the surroundings

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly good for me

This net is perfect. I just went through my whole bag from driver to 60 degree lob wedge. Perfect height and width. For those reviews that say it isn't tall enough, they need lessons, or they need to move a little closer to the net because my 60 degree did just fine.

Pros
  • The WhiteFang Golf Net Bundle is perfect for avid golfers who need to practice their shots anytime, anywhere
Cons
  • The net may not be suitable for use with certain types of golf balls

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great deal. on my review.

This was the perfect Christmas gift for my son. After breaking two windows, we knew it was fine to do something. he loves the grass mat and practices inside and out with it. The net is sturdy, and, I’m glad to say we have intact windows thus far!

Pros
  • Training Equipment
Cons
  • The net may not be suitable for tall golfers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy set up - my new review

Great product with easy set up. Recommend getting a different mat if you can though because the one provided can be tough on the elbows which is understandable given how well valued this bundle is.

Pros
  • The golf hitting mat is made of high-quality materials, which makes it durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • The carrying bag may not have sufficient ventilation to prevent moisture buildup

Revainrating 5 out of 5

11/10 would recommend

This net is exactly what you’re looking for. Tall and wide to whack balls into. I have no fear of this net ripping anytime soon. Seems to be very well made. Carrying bag and chipping net were also a bonus. Both seem to be constructed well. I’m usually not a fan of hitting mats but this one seems to be of good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great net.

Pros
  • Great quality
Cons
  • The included golf balls may not be of high quality
