Incredibly poor Bluetooth range

Headphones lose connection at arm's length from the phone. Literally. I have to hold my phone close to my chest for them to work. It's a shame, because otherwise I really like these headphones. The sound is decent for the price, very good noise cancellation, great color and unlike other pairs I own they are very comfortable to wear with headbands and hats while running.
