After double cleansing with oil and foam cleanser, then exfoliating and moisturizing by pushing in toner, this product is used to smooth and moisturize. The remaining steps include sunscreen at the end. The serum leaves the skin incredibly smooth and pore-free. The golden flakes do not appear after application, but are very luxurious. The applicator is a dropper in a cap. Suck up some serum with the pump button and then release it by pressing the button. That way you don't get too much. It has a very faint floral scent. Most serums are too sticky for me and I don't like them. This is my favorite and I also love it as a base because it's so smooth.
