I find the straps very comfortable even if they are heavy. -framed woman with bony/slender shoulders. Maybe I have muscles in my shoulders that keep them from bothering me? I usually have problems with the straps so I find this surprising, especially with all the reviews mentioning that the straps hurt or slip off. I feel like my shoulders are medium width and there is no chest to talk about chest - maybe someone else's chest repels them? The problem with this wallet is that after about 2 months of use as a wallet, the faux leather becomes crumpled and flimsy/flexible very quickly. I paid almost $50 for it so I think it should last longer. generally alone, but I put enough into it to make it look good.
