I have a beautiful leather sofa and armchair, which unfortunately were scratched by my cat. Of course, this product cannot repair scratches, but it does an excellent job of covering them up. It has made a huge difference, for which I am very grateful. I suggest after you've applied it VERY well, wiping it down with a clean rag so there's no residue - I'm sure it would be very frustrating to ruin the clothes from washing. This has not happened to me as I wipe the furniture vigorously so that no marks are left behind.
