A Perfect Outdoor Solution

I LOVE Luminara candles. These are my first outdoor ones and I’m super happy with them. I like to use lots of candlelit lanterns in the garden at night. Luminara takes away my concerns around fire (I have a garden room attached to the house, and use lots of candles in it). It also makes "setting the scene” as easy as the push of a button. So I’m far more likely to have all of the candles illuminated with Luminara than I was with regular candles (which require lighting each one and blowing each one out at the end of the evening). Here are my thoughts summarized:Pros: - Plastic, so they won’t melt- Turn on with the remote. One remote can work all of the Luminara candles you have.- Long battery life.- Most realistic "fake” candle, by far, that I’ve found.- They create a beautiful ambianceCons:- They aren’t going to fool anyone if someone looks closely at them.- They are pretty pricey (but so are good-quality regular candles)- They require batteries (they aren’t rechargeable). You can always buy rechargeable batteries though.Thoughts:- They work especially well in lanterns that create a layer between the viewer and the candle.- It is nice to mix different kinds of ambient light outdoors, along with the Luminara candles. For example - solar lanterns, fairly lights, etc.

Pros
  • The light is a warm white color encased in a yellow flame designed to be as realistic as possible. It automatically flickers when you turn the candle on, increasing the realism. Perfect for use all year round, but particularly during the holiday season. A great way to add a warm, inviting light at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Cons
  • Limited color options
