The material is pleasant, definitely comfortable for barefoot and suitable for the bathroom. The "grey" is actually much darker than in the photos. A few problems. 1. The toilet cutout is just too narrow and cannot be wrapped around the toilet without folding on one side. Almost an extra inch or two is enough, but given the way the rug is made, it's impossible to change it without seriously damaging it. 2. The rubber backing is not really suitable as the rug tends to slowly slip when you stand on it with a foot, causing it to move around the bathroom quite a bit during the day.
