It was very easy to put together BUT the assembly instructions suck (laughs, they really do). But it's worth laying out everything on the floor and looking at the picture of how to assemble it all. And the tabletop is heavy! I wasn't expecting this but it's well done, so happy about it. For the price and what I needed it works great. Note that there are 3 legs here (not 4 like some of the others Amazon showed me) which means the legs need to be adjusted a certain way for the chairs to fit. What I noticed after taking the picture. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and yes, one person can assemble it (I'm disabled and also have severe arthritis and it wasn't difficult at all).
