Review on πŸ’¨ Cooler Master Hyper T2: Compact Dual-Looped CPU Cooler with 95mm Fan and Copper Heat Pipes for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1151 by Mason Gordon

Terrible design for Intel processors.

God I've bought a lot of great Cooler Master products; some of my favorite cases, fans and coolers. But this CPU cooler is one of the biggest pieces of junk I've ever come across. It's possible that the AMD based mounting mechanism is fine, but the Intel based mechanism has 2 small plastic feet on each corner that should fit the holes. into the motherboard and then push a hard plastic scribe to push them apart, theoretically protecting the cooler. There is nowhere to put your hands, even if everything is filmed. Possibly if you installed the CPU and cooler before installing the motherboard and case. And the two small legs on each corner can easily fall apart when you try to put them in the holes. When this happens, play "Hit the Mole". Paste one, the other appears. Even if the install succeeds, I don't think this mechanism is secure enough to trust my build. So it goes in the trash. Terrible design.
