I use an Aga Legacy oven with small oven shelves. Conventional 27" ovens typically use 40W light bulbs. To be called an oven lamp, it must be "heat resistant" up to 300 degrees Celsius (that's 550 Fahrenheit in the US). My oven is 240 volt electric, but these 110-130 volt light bulbs fit just right. The E-14 base was accurate and my oven glass was etched with that warning ("15 watts max") so that 130 volt bulb was correct. Substitute. Bulb glass appears thinner than factory OEM bulbs. Low wattage bulbs should last 1500-2000 hours but that remains to be seen given the very high oven temperatures. My Aga oven has no glass windows in the door and no oven light (just an on/off button). Several times the light was left on until the oven was next used, which could be 24-72 hours later. So I have several spare lamps. Compared to other available bulbs from "Ami" on Revain, this batch of 6 bulbs is slightly cheaper. It turns out there are also 25w at 120v and 25w at 240v bulbs. Hopefully you have a worn bulb or a specs manual to look for a replacement.
