In the summer I live in my sandals, which meant a new pair every year that ended up being frayed, uncomfortable and smelly. No longer. To be honest I checked them out first because a couple of my friends had them, but now I understand why so many people love them. They REQUIRE you to break them in. Don't make the mistake of wearing them all day when you first put them on like I did, but once broken in they are very comfortable and supportive and stay that way. Just bought my second pair after 3 long (and wonderful) years on my first pair (which are still going strong, now they look more like racing slicks). I've worn them on hikes, used them at work at summer camp where I'm on my feet all day, used them at the lake and beach, walked in the creek, they really are my warm-weather shoes. Personally, I don't think they're worth the "normal" $100 price tag, but they consistently sell for a lot less, anything under $65 I'd say they're worth it.
