Mattress cannot be placed on a frame! I understand this is a stretch mattress and needs a lot of tension to work properly and in theory it's amazing! I was so thrilled that I could put my toddler on this breathable mattress which was very similar to the original Purflo mattress (found in the UK) and that we were able to sleep through the night without fear of my toddler suffocating . However, when the mattress arrived we watched the video and followed the instructions in the manual down to the letter T and quickly realized that ABSOLUTELY no woman could put it together on her own in less than two minutes. IMPOSSIBLE Unless our mattress was defective. We emailed BabyTrend to no avail and ordered an 'extra' mattress cover just to test the defective cover theory we had. Two broken mattress pads and nearly $220 later. We have 2 broken covers and still no word from BabyTrend :( It literally took 3 very strong (builders) to try and fit this mattress over the frame and lengthen it. Still hasn't closed it all the way! it literally not only did we break the zip from the effort trying to get him to snap BOTH covers but then the mattress material ripped! /2 hours 3 adult males and I, and later a very very upset Mom and a Dad, and NO MATTRESS YET!I've never been so disappointed with a purchase we had such high hopes and hopes for :( We were expecting more baby trend
