I confess I bought it for my daughter one size bigger. I just wanted something for her to grow into because she grows like a seedling. She's almost 7 years old, she usually wears a size 8, but I didn't go up a size. When gray it's a nice soft light perfect for summer or spring and a fill that for the price is definitely a good buy.
