This is a good complement to the laptop, can be for a gamer or a regular computer user, I have a nice RGB backlight that gives it a nice look. USB ports on the back: one is used to power the panel and the other can be used to charge a mobile phone. There are several buttons on the front, one of which is used to control the light. With this button you can change the color and stabilize it. If the light bothers someone, you can turn off the light by pressing and holding the light button for 10 seconds. The other +/- buttons are used to control the fan speed. There's also a power off button, which is useful when you're powered from a docking station rather than a laptop, allowing it to be turned off when not needed. I plugged it into my docking station as I don't have a spare port to connect it to my laptop so the power button is handy to turn it off when not needed.
