Pretty good stylus for any iPad

First of all I'm always asked why I need a stylus for my iPad. As a backstory, I've moved almost all of my work to the iPad, from document review to meeting notes, paperwork, and charts. After hating the keyboard, I learned to use it, but I still do a lot of freehand work. This is especially useful for quick document reviews, brainstorming, and journaling. I use a stylus with Notability (the best app on the app store for people like me) and GoodReader. I switched to the Targus pen after my boxwave stylus started working 9 months after changing the screen protector and have been using it daily for about four months now. This pen is a bit longer and seems to have better balance than the Boxwave. While the Boxwave had just the tiniest bit of metal sticking out past the installed edge of the capacitive tip (causing my latest screen protector to get scratched playing with a 9-year-old playing Temple Run), Targus seemed a little lit up be. tighter fit. I have used the stylus on an iPad's unprotected screen and on a 3M screen protector. Writes smoothly and accurately on both (with the right tips), but I feel less "sticky" with the screen protector. I suspect the tip will get stickier over time as it picks up oil from fingerprints. It will definitely move the oil across the screen and create streaks that you can see in direct light. Unlike Boxwave, the Targus doesn't come with a headphone jack dongle to connect it to an iPad. I've been looking everywhere for a new one but couldn't find it, so I use the Boxwave key. Also, the lace seems to come off pretty easily (at least for a 9 year old) and I had to replace it. Given the price, that doesn't bother me. In daily use I am basically satisfied with the stylus.
