So I bought these for my 2 and 4 year olds (shoe size 7 and 11) and they were fantastic! Slim and well constructed, it stretches and fits like a glove. I then desperately needed a pair of socks for my 7 month old daughter (wears size 12-18 months) and although they fit differently (higher at the ankles and not a perfect fit) they were perfectly wearable. Then the other morning my 10 year old niece who wears size 2 girls shoes asked if she could borrow a pair of my socks and I told her to try them on and lo and behold. Does it suit me too? I wear shoes in size 7.5/8 and in the photo they fit me comfortably, but I've been wearing them to work for the last three days. They look like little socks you wear with ballet flats and are high enough to stay in place in your shoes. 5 minutes ago my sister tried them on (women's shoes size 6) and of course they fit perfectly, both on her daughter and on my sons. Needless to say, I'm buying another set and we're throwing away all the other low-rise socks. For those who say they are a bit too big for your child, as long as they don't wrinkle underfoot and the shoes are the right size, this shouldn't be a problem.
