Review on AC Infinity MULTIFAN Control Receiver by Alex Rea

I use this fan in my little beer cooler on the patio. My cheap fridge didn't have a fan to move the air, and with cheap temperature controls, the beer either froze or stayed too warm. I couldn't get it to stay in the 38-40 degree range. The back of the fridge, where the coils were, will freeze into a thick layer of ice, and then the beer. I've had this in my fridge for about 2 weeks now and my beer is a solid 38 degrees! and no ice formation. I just hung it on a shelf with some zip ties, ran an adjustable speed cable through the hinge side of the door, and plugged it into an old USB cell phone charger. Maybe not exactly what it was designed for, but I love it! Displaces only two beers! UPDATE: After 4 months of continuous operation, the fan wheel started vibrating and became very loud. Now, two months later, he has finally died. I guess it wasn't designed to run 24/7. It went like this for about 6 months. Great at work. So my decision: Is it worth $14 for six months? may be. I'll probably get another one just because it's so easy to install. It's pre-wired so all I have to do is plug it into a spare USB charger. But I'll keep looking for a more robust solution. UPDATE 2: Bought another one. I just couldn't find anything else that I liked. This one came with nice rubber feet and seems better built. It's a lot quieter than my first one, even at top speed. Hope it lasts longer than the first. Keep for updates. UPDATE 3: My second device has been running for 7 months now. 24/7 no noise, I check from time to time if it's still working. My mini fridge keeps the air circulating so your back never freezes and everything stays at a constant 40 degrees. In the past, the ridge was frozen with a thick layer of ice, and the banks in the ridge were frozen. UPDATE 4: 16 months and power! This second device has been running 24/7 in my beer fridge for 16 months, what more can I say! Update 5. 03/14/19. The second fan is still running! Won't count for # months, but. Just bought 3 more to put in a closed entertainment closet that gets too hot. The new fans are of the same quality as the second fan.
