I connected an HDD and an SSD to it and only the HDD was recognized. Reading was relatively slow for a hard drive, but after cataloging it worked. It confirmed my SSD was connected with the normal plug and play beep, but nothing showed up in Windows Explorer. After removing the SSD I used the enclosure I used previously and the drive no longer showed up in Windows Explorer. I wasn't sure what was going on so I plugged in my other SSD and it read fine. First. When I tried to transfer some files to an attached SSD, an error occurred. I undocked the SSD and tried reading the folder again but found the drive was corrupt. I then used another case to test it, hoping the dock was finicky, but no. Disk read error because it was corrupted. I had to format the drive and lost everything on it. Backup of documents, archive photos and videos. Everyone. I am not satisfied with this product and will be returning it soon. To be honest I'm furious about losing my backup files.
