One of those tonics that works in many different ways. In the initial stages, it helps cleanse the skin and narrow pores. Because it is a skin care product, it helps control excess sebum production to some extent, which helps keep skin clear and healthy. After curing, it softens the skin a little. I didn't find it as gentle as some leave the skin, but it helps. After hours of use on the face, it very gently loosens the top layers of dead skin so it can be easily washed off at the next cleansing. There is almost no smell in this tonic, which should please sensitive people. I personally haven't had any irritation with this toner, but you can test it out before using it all over your face. I found it clean and safe for most situations. Seems to work best for people with oily to normal skin. The skin didn't dry out at all, but someone may have done it. For those with dry skin, if you use this make sure you use a good moisturizer.
