Crickets love things.

Crickets love it but if you want to see the cricket feeding frenzy mix up a handful of 9 Life plus Care Tuna Egg Flavor Dry Cat Food I like a little Sprinkle Calcium D3 just to make sure my reptiles get enough calcium absorbing calcium, the crickets are literally fighting for cat food, stealing it from each other.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Crickets love it! best among reptiles and amphibians

I started buying this to help the crickets we buy for my daughter's crested gecko last longer due to the human food options we fed the crickets didn't seem palatable to them, and quite a few of the dozen or two we would buy would die before we could feed them to the gecko. This, combined with a small bowl lined with damp paper towels for the crickets to "drink" from, has at least doubled their lifespan. Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Has imperfections

Good price but I also have wheat mites

I have been buying this product in the 11.5 oz pack for a long time. When I saw this wonderful offer, I immediately jumped! The only problem is that I didn't suddenly have these little white mites. They can be called wheat mites. I have never owned or seen them until now. It didn't affect the rating as it actually happens. Unfortunately I have to deal with that. Great price and large container. I've heard of freezing or baking the product to get rid of mites. Tried freezing for a couple of days

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • High Price

What I love about this product is that 6 pounds of cricket food is so cheap that when I lived in New York they charged so much it was crazy . I can't buy a 6 lb rod at the pet store, thanks for selling large containers of cricket food. My crickets enjoy delicious cricket food. They started eating it when I put it in their cage. If anyone needs a large cricket food container, I highly recommend this cricket food product 👍. The expiration date on this product is almost correct and it won't go…

Pros
  • Boosts confidence
Cons
  • I don't know anymore

ticks in food. - Reptiles and amphibians

I've been trying to breed and raise crickets to save money to feed my frog menagerie. The baby crickets continued to die and I looked at some of them under the microscope, all with small white mites attached to their joints and feeding on them. I examined the substrate and found these mites in the feed and substrate. I set up a new container, bought new crickets and added fresh food only to have it all happen again. I examined a sealed food jar that still contained dates and found that it was…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not everything fits

I use Fluker high calcium cricket food as the main protein source for my Dubia roach colony which I feed to two very happy leopard geckos. The colony swarms out as soon as they smell their enclosure; I have noticed that the colony's overall health and productivity has improved dramatically since using this product. doing well. To provide calcium-rich feeder insects to your pets, gut loading is superior to "sprinkle" feeds with calcium, which I have never done before. Calcium supplied by…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Big and bulky

You need this product!

If you are breeding feeder insects such as crickets, cockroaches, mealworms or superworms, or if you are buying in bulk, this cricket feed is a must. At $12-$13 for a 6 pound can, you can't beat the price. It costs half as much as buying small containers of cricket food. The cricket food itself is great. My crickets love it and I have very few dead crickets in the cage. There's some left that crickets won't eat, but not much. If you overfeed your crickets, they tend to become fussy and leave…

Good price for groceries

This is a good price for this product and it is a well known branded product that you can trust. Fluker's has been in business for over 50 years and provides a consistent product you can trust to gut crickets before feeding. I will say that I do not rely solely on cricket food. I feed our crickets a mix of fresh vegetable trimmings and the like and dry cat food for extra protein. I use a yellow calcium cricket extinguisher, but also run fresh water through a dampened sponge (to keep them from…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Easy to repair
