This is a good price for this product and it is a well known branded product that you can trust. Fluker's has been in business for over 50 years and provides a consistent product you can trust to gut crickets before feeding. I will say that I do not rely solely on cricket food. I feed our crickets a mix of fresh vegetable trimmings and the like and dry cat food for extra protein. I use a yellow calcium cricket extinguisher, but also run fresh water through a dampened sponge (to keep them from drowning). We care for our reptiles and want them to be as healthy as possible, which means our feed animals need to be healthy and happy too. We ensure that their cage (large mesh bag with cutouts) is clean and has plenty of hiding places. We keep them in semi-darkness, not too loud, so they aren't constantly scared. We feed them daily and provide water and cricket angels as needed. You don't have to buy any additional products to make any of this, they're quite happy with potato and apple skins, as well as the tougher inner pieces of lettuce you don't take. Don't feel like eating shredded carrots etc etc. Just throw in what you normally throw away and you'll be feeding your reptiles while reducing waste.
